Legal Notice

Who publishes this site, where it runs, and how to reach the people behind it. Only facts that can be supported appear here; where something is not yet established, this page says so rather than filling the gap.

The site

Name
eDocument Tools
Domain
edocumenttools.com
Purpose
Free browser-based tools for reading and validating electronic business documents — UBL 2.1, UN/CEFACT CII, Factur-X and EN 16931.

Publisher

This site is published and operated by an individual, as a personal technical project. No company, registration number, VAT identifier or postal address is published here, because no registered entity stands behind the project. If that changes, the details will appear on this page.

For anything that requires a named recipient — a legal notice, a rights request, a takedown — use the contact form. It reaches the operator directly, and a request that needs a postal address will be answered with one.

Contact

The contact form is the way to reach this project. It is the only channel that is monitored.

Mail sent by this project comes from no-reply@edocumenttools.com. That address sends only; messages to it are not read. Nothing is gained by writing to it, so it is named here for recognition rather than as an address to use.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Hostinger, on a managed Node.js application. The provider's registered company details are not reproduced here, because this project has not verified them; they are published by the provider itself.

Independence

eDocument Tools is an independent project. It is not operated by, endorsed by, affiliated with or approved by any tax administration, government body, standards organisation or accredited platform. It is not a certified or official validator, and no result it produces is a certification.

It executes validation artefacts published by standards bodies and by the FNFE-MPE, under their own licences and pinned to named versions. Those bodies are the authors of the rules; this site is only the thing that runs them. The disclaimer sets out the limits of what a result means.

Intellectual property

The site's own code and text belong to its operator. Standards, schemas and rule packages belong to their respective issuers and are used under their own licences, listed with their versions in the project's third-party notices. Documents you open in the tools remain entirely yours — no licence to them is asked for or granted, because they are never received.
